Every day, research uncovers new information about medical conditions and possible treatments. Volunteering to participate in a pharmaceutical research study (clinical trial) is one way that you can help doctors and researchers better understand diseases and to develop new treatments and/or medications.

Clinical trials that are prudently designed, well executed, and carefully monitored can actually allow eligible participants to:

• Become better educated about their disease
• Actively participate in their health care
• Gain access to new research treatments before they are widely available
• Help others by participating in research

Clinical Trials North Houston is the clinical research arm of Dr. Suzanne Weakley’s practice – you can be sure that she and our staff will do our best to help you have a positive research experience. In fact, most of our research patients have participated in more than one clinical trial!
